JJWizzle born Paul Stephenson, on November 3 1986, in Spanish Town St .Catherine, was introduced to music by his older brother Deevexx, who was a collector of music.
At the age 5, JJ a major fan of Buju Banton started to dj, did his first concert singing Buju Banton major hit at the time”Batty Rider”. As years pass by and his love for djing transform to not wanting to perform but to play songs. JJWizzle went on to play a sound system by the name of “Cool Breeze” where he saw is talent. He then created his own sound system by the name of “Viper Intl”, that was where he met up with the famous Mr.Wong. He start cutting dub plates at Mr Wong Studio he gained the interest to become an engineer where he recorded billboard acts such as; Gyptian, Pliers, Terror Fabulous, I-Wayne & Vybz Kartel.
In the year of 2002, Paul “JJWizzle” Stephenson, graduated from St. Georges College, there he went on to continue his career as dis jock, where he started making mix tapes for sound systems (Cash Money, Haadrokk etc.) and Cassette Ninja. JJWizzle started traveling the world and playing for one of the hottest sound system to rise out of Portmore, St. Catherine called “Badd Influence”.
In 2005, coming off his US tour, JJWizzle returned to Portmore to produce his first project call the “Running Away Riddim” featured acts such as; I-Wayne, Gyptian and others. He then continued producing acts like Deva Bratt, Nuclear, G-Loc, Ratigan and other upcoming Portmore artistes. In 2009, he got his buzz producing the famous Lisa Hyper putting her career back on track after she was booted from the Gaza Camp. He kept on producing until 2011 when he was offered a job at the first ever radio station out of Portmore, SunCity 104.9FM, where he made a name for his self.
JJwizzle is now a name that is recognize in the music industry and is also growing rapidly in the Sunshine City.
