Kingston, Jamaica (Shuzzr) – Suzie Q returns to radio after taking more than a ten years hiatus to focus on her Hit Entertainment Television show Video Alley – Reggae Top Ten.
Suzie Q says ” Radio is my first love, I started out on radio in Jamaica in the early 90’s and did a short stint in 2000 but there was always a longing to put that earphone on and have enough time to talk to my people and push uplifting Reggae music with a nice balance of dancehall “.
The multifaceted media personality was very excited when she started last Saturday September 27,2014 on Nationwide 90 FM and realized that she was not dreaming. The Programme is called The weekend Marathon , Suzie Q plays for six solid hours from 12pm to 6pm every Saturday and will have features such as Reggae Legends ( one or two Legends each week sometimes tune for tune ..Last week she featured Dennis Brown and Freddie McGregor and this Saturday it will be Cocoa Tea and Frankie Paul).
Other features are: Gospel Blend, Trail Blazers ,In My Town with Niki Chin , The Retro Wheel , and Reality Check. Suzie Q is always willing to “bring” a new talent so there is DJ Omar who plays the tunes.
Suzie Q has an international fan base so she is happy that they can log on to Listen Live Online – Nationwide and listen live.
