An Open Letter to the Queen of Dancehall Lady Saw,
I write to you as your humble, gracious and utmost loyal fan. When I saw the headlines recently regarding your conviction, I was overwhelmed by the fact that you’ve decided to dedicate your life to serving the Heavenly master. Your actions are testament to the fact that the Lord do work in mysterious ways, wonders to perform.Whist I struggle daily trying to appease my own soul. I feel comforted by the fact that you will be a blessing to many. Im reminded of the story of the Samaritan Woman. Born from a race of people that the Jews utterly despised as having no claim on their God. She was an outcast, ostracized and looked down upon by her own people based on her lifestyle. However, her interactions with Jesus bore great truths:
These two truths I hope will guide your spiritual journey as before we can ask our Heavenly Master, to forgive us, we must ask those to whom we have offended for forgiveness. I say this not to question your morality and our spirituality as we can only leave all judging onto God. Thus, I offer my continuous support and prayer as you take the Lords charge to the world.
I leave you with the biblical verse, “Blessed are they that do His Commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.” (Revelation 22:14-15 KJV)
