NEW YORK, USA (Shuzzr): Reggae-dancehall artiste, Vershon, who was scheduled to perform in Bermuda on August 3rd, 2019 at the BDA Summer Music Festival was denied entry by government officials.
The artiste who was one of the scheduled headliners, landed at the L. F. Wade International Airport on August 2ND at approximately 1pm and was told by immigration personnel that the event for which he was booked to perform was cancelled and work permits if issued null and void.
Vershon a Caribbean national who possess the requisite documentation to enter the British territory requested permission to enter as a tourist but was still denied entry without being provided with a valid explanation.
“While we understand that Vershon needs a work permit to work on the island, and the Government right and decision to cancel the event/permits. The artiste still had the legal required documentation to visit the island as a tourist which was ignored. Its unfortunate, that those who seek to bring positive publicity, and aid in the economic development of Bermuda tourism sector is refused entry even with the proper documentation. The artiste who is a brand ambassador for reggae-dancehall music is owed an apology for the way it was handled” Vershon team states.
Not daunted by the incident, Vershon is focused on making his upcoming shows worthwhile and hope his fans in Bermuda will be able to see him in short-order. Vershon recently partnered with songstress Krysie on a single titled ‘Top Class’ produced by Warrior Music which will be released this month.

Karma! i have paid Vershon a deposit (1750€) for a show in the Netherlands, they (Vershon) cancelled the show and never paid back the deposit. If i send a message to the "manager" they dont react to me, not professional. What does it take to do honest bussiness with Vershon and his entourage? Blessings
