Jah Vinci drops the ball yet again with ‘I Am the World Singer” EP

Despite not convincing many that he is indeed The World Singer, Jah Vinci is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with.

The artiste who recently sought to reclaim his place on the world stage, released a seven track EP titled “I Am the World Singer” produced by Notnice Records which once again showcased his artistry.

The body of work which captures both the producer and artiste talents, failed however to push the envelope. Jah Vinci has been known for years in various circles for his vocal range and penmanship, yet he continue to regurgitate notes and harmonies to which we have become accustomed to.

“I Am the World Singer” by Jah Vinci still positions the artiste on the right path to stardom as his fans and critics continues to be reminded of his talent. Singles such as ‘U Alone’, and ‘Eye of the Storm’ cements his notions and intent of the project but still failed overall to deliver a body of work demonstrating his growth and understanding for the current musical landscape.

Crafting a story filled with melodies, has been the artiste flair but a decade later he still struggles to step outside his comfort zone recognizing that there is vast musical landscape outside the shores of Jamaica.
