Alkaline New Rules Festival donates 1 million dollars.

New Era Productions announces New Rules Festival Return to Jamaica, artiste line-up & sponsors whilst donating 1 million dollars to the Jamaica Society for the Blind.

Kingston, Jamaica (Shuzzr) – New Era Productions in association with Reggae-Dancehall artiste Alkaline, is pleased to officially announce the return of New Rules Festival to Kingston, Jamaica on July 2nd, 2022, at Independence Park (National Stadium Car Park).  

The festival’s media launch, which was held on June 23rd, 2022, saw Carla Hollingworth, Digicel Brand Marketing Manager; Tamika West, Marketing Manager at Worthy Park Estate and Shantell Hill-Afonso, Brand Manager at Sunshine Snacks Jamaica speaking at the event. Other notable speakers were Mr. Robert Hill, Chief Executive Officer at Kingston, and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAC) and Professor Donna Hope from the University of the West Indies attesting to the importance of stakeholders working together as the Jamaica entertainment landscape reopens.   

Ms. Kereena Beckford, CEO of New Era Production and Alkaline’s manager also spoke about her upcoming event, New Rules Festival, and donated 1-million-dollar to the Jamaica Society for the Blind to aid with the organization’s operational needs.

“New Era Productions is committed to executing its corporate social responsibility (CSR). This isn’t our first philanthropic endeavor, and it won’t be the last. We stand by our commitments and hope this donation to the Jamaica Society for the Blind will help strengthen their efforts” states Ms. Kereena Beckford.

Representatives from the Jamaica Society for the Blind was present to accept the donation.

Artiste Line-up & Event Details

New Rules Festival Jamaica will see acts such as Elephant Man, Aidonia, Macka Diamond, Skeng, Jahvillani, Stalk Ashley, Marcy Chin, Knaxx, Star Captyn, Sykario, Kacique, Sherdon 1zone, and Pretti Pretti with other acts performing in concert with The Man Himself, Alkaline.
