Spechinal Releases Official Video For Hit Single “Christmas Wish”

Emerging Reggae star, Spechinal looks to cap off a highly successful 2012 as he has dropped visuals for a song sure to warm hearts during a largely cool season.

The Clarendon-born singer has been hitting the airwaves an commercial circuit with his single, Christmas Wish, an ode to the holiday season and couples looking to reunite during this joyous time of year. The Rasta Camp Records produced single adds to a strong list of hits in 2012, including efforts such as True Love, Cuss Me and Natural Girl, for which the accompanying videos which received strong rotation on HYPE TV and MDTV, amongst other Jamaican entertainment stations.

The official video for Christmas Wish was shot late last month in Kingston and is directed by prominent videographer, Courtney Boyd. A dapper-looking Spechinal stars alongside Miss Jamaica World 2012 contestant, Rashida Beckford as they play a couple separated by distance but kept together by their strong love and affection for each other.

No matter what gifts are bought or other material things are used to appease her, Beckford’s character is reflective of many women across the girl who’d rather have the gift of spending time with her significant other than presents filled with diamonds and pearls. Christmas Wish epitomizes dreams mixing with reality as hopes and wishes of a reunion during the holiday season are realized, inspiring real-life couples to seek the true spirit of the holidays instead of allowing vanity to consume their lives.

The official video for Christmas Wish is now available on YouTube and is sure to receive the same mainstream attention his previous videos have garnered.
