St. John’s, Antigua – Chattabox, the Caribbean brand that has made waves throughout the region since its inception, will again be looking to break barriers with its newest initiative. The company, known for being innovative and inclusive in pushing Caribbean culture forward, will host its inaugural music festival, scheduled for the Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG) in Antigua on June 17, 2023.Widely known for its traveling J’ouvert band, which has successfully operated in Antigua and St. Kitts since 2019, its recently announced plans to add St. Vincent, Tobago, and even venture internationally to Ghana for its 2023 season. However, since the company’s inception in 2017, co-owner Raena Bird has committed to utilizing multiple mediums to promote Caribbean unification, including talk shows hosted on YouTube and merchandise sales.“A regional music festival has always been a huge goal of Chattabox, and we are pleased to achieve this quickly.
