It was here during his youth, where he witnessed the birth of Dancehall in the U.S. He would hear hit songs blasting from local record shops by veterans like Shabba Ranks, Ninjaman, Cutty Ranks and Papa San. “I fell in love with reggae the first time I heard it. I remember when I was 10, I locked myself up in the room with a reggae cassette and listened to it over and over for the entire day, I was infatuated with it,” Dynasty reminisced.
